Our Men’s Ministries is focused on helping every man become more of a man of God with the goal of producing Men Of Righteousness… Energized!
M.O.R.E. Men is a one year discipleship guide for mentoring and developing
godliness in men. It is designed for use with small groups of four to six men
meeting twice per month for the purpose of drawing near to God, building friendships,
holding fast to the faith, and stirring up love and good works (Hebrews 10:22-25).
It is not a bible study per se, but rather a composition of practical applications
of biblical principles that promote and energize masculine godliness. In addition
to the enjoyment of fellowship with men, the higher goal is making serious
life adjustments for God including marriage, family, church, and work.
The real benefit comes when men take the basic principles seriously and apply them to their lives. A group facilitator or leader is required for organizing, prompting, encouraging and keeping the group on track. He does not have to
be an expert, but should have servant leadership qualities, a good reputation,
an aptitude for spiritual depth and a working knowledge of the Bible. Group
members are comprised of men who are willing to take one year of life and put
to task their beliefs, to be vulnerable and transparent, and to assign themselves
to intentionally grow in measurable ways, with their lives open and “on the line” in the presence of others… to
become M.O.R.E. for Jesus Christ our Savior!
Men’s Prayer
From the very earliest days of Rock Community Church, faithful men have gathered together each week to pray for their church, community, nation, and each other. Come rain or shine, these men show up every Tuesday morning at 6:00am because
of their love for God and their neighbor. During this time together, relationships
are built strong in the Lord and fellowship is made rich. God has made the call for us to engage in spiritual warfare, “Wake up mighty men! Let all the men of war draw near, let them come up” (Joel
3:9)! If you are a man, we hope you will choose to join us at our next weekly
prayer time…
