OUR MISSION STATEMENT

At ROCK Community Church, we are committed to:

Reconciliation of mankind to God and to one another. Through evangelism and discipleship both corporately and individually, we are dedicated to saving souls and healing broken human relationships. (Luke 19:10; 2 Cor. 5:18-20)

Offering ourselves a living sacrifice of praise to God through vibrant corporate worship, living lives of holiness as godly examples for this world, and sacrificial giving of our time and resources for the furtherance of God's kingdom. (John 4:23-24; Rom. 12:1-2)

Commissioning disciples and equipping the saints of God for the work of the ministry. We are committed to training and sending mature believers into the world for fulfillment of The Great Commission and to serve the needs of people. (Matt. 28:18-20; 25:31-46)

Kingdom reign in our church body and our personal lives. We believe our efforts are futile and insignificant in our own strength but by submission to God, He will direct our steps and empower us by His Spirit to live holy lives to His glory. (Matt. 6:9-10; Eph. 1:18-22)

OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

Our purpose is to abide in Christ, to be set apart from the world in holiness yet a part of the world as His instruments of redemption, and to do His works by the grace of God in utter dependence upon Him.

Our purpose is to function as the body of Christ with Jesus Christ as the head, committed to preaching, fellowship, worship, evangelism and prayer to fulfill The Great Commission and The Great Commandment.

Our purpose is to glorify God in every aspect of life and ministry, and to lift Jesus up so that all people will be drawn to Him. The center of our ministry, our focus, our attention, and our church is the King: Jesus!
