Young Adult Outreach Ministry
The FIRE PURPOSE STATEMENT
Reaching young adults, ages 18 (out of High School) to 25, with the love of Christ is the purpose of The FIRE. Therefore, saving the lost, making “on fire” disciples, and providing support to young adults during this crucial season of life is The FIRE’s mission. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we aim to reach multitudes of young adults with the truth that Jesus, their Savior, loves them and wants to talk to them… He wants to instruct them in the way that they should go. It is our earnest prayer that through this ministry, the Lord will speak to them, and that they will hear “…His words out of the midst of The FIRE!”
The FIRE OBJECTIVES
- Share the gospel with as many young adults as possible… winning souls!
- Bring regular, practical discipleship to the young adults… non-compromised, but seasoned with love and encouragement.
- Help the young adults build friendships with like-minded believers, teaching them to support each other through prayer and encouragement… therefore, building a network of strength verses weakness around them.
Summer Schedule: As it stands right now, The FIRE will be meeting on the following dates…
- May 1st, 15th & 29th
- June 12th & 26th
- July 24th
August 21st-cancelled due to extenuating student schedules! : ( - September 4th (kick-off of weekly meetings again)
May the Lord keep The FIRE burning in all of us, and may it spread to whoever comes near us!
