What can I come expecting?
You can come expecting a warm welcome... we will be excited to meet you! Services on Sundays and Wednesdays typically include times of singing, fellowship, a message from our pastor, and prayer. Everyone is welcome to worship God freely as we sing, and our people sing loud so you can be comfortable joining in with us! People at Rock Community are very inclusive and welcoming, so you may find people wanting to meet you on your first visit! Our pastor preaches straight from the Bible, so you can expect to learn the truth of God's words! We often include a time of prayer, when you and everyone present will have opportunity to receive prayer from specific prayer persons!
How can I grow spiritually?
The key to growing spiritually is to let your heart and actions change as God teaches you. God can teach you through the Bible, through praying to Him, and through the teaching of leaders in the church as well as fellow friends in your spiritual walk. So, try reading a chapter or two or three of the Bible each day (the chapters are often just a page long), spend time praying to God, and come to services ready to apply what you learn from the teaching and to build healthy friendships! We also provide special classes with training covering a variety of the most relevant topics, such as parenting or finances, at particular times throughout the year. If there is a certain topic you would like to grow in, fill out the comment section of the form below... we would love to learn what you are interested in!
Where can I receive prayer?
Our prayer meetings are an excellent time in which you will have a chance to receive prayer from people just like you, who are going through life's twists and turns and will be able to connect their heart with your needs. Also, we oftentimes have a time set aside at Sunday and Wednesday services for prayer for personal needs. If you would like prayer immediately, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and our staff will cover your needs in prayer!
